Parent Cafés: Strengthening Families Together
As parents, we have the wisdom and resources inside of us to strengthen our families, but sometimes it helps to talk about it with other parents. Love Is Not Enough Parent Cafés are a new way to have conversations with other parents about what it takes to keep our own families strong.
Together, parents come up with the solutions to our problems and resolve difficult family issues — and build deep, useful friendships along the way.
Love is Not Enough Parent Cafés can take place at early childhood centers and other friendly environments. They're a safe place to talk about the “hard stuff”, and other parents lead the discussion. We'll explore questions that really matter, questions that we really want answered about:
- Taking care of yourself
- Raising strong children
- Building strong relationships with your children
